Apollo's Temple
June 12, 2008
Apollo, the fearsome twin,
Stands crushed by Nature’s whim.
The ancient columns crumble down
And see the fury of ‘Pollo’s frown.
Once standing straight, and firm, and sure
No longer steadfast and secure
Proclaim a dead religion’s dearth,
And languid earth returns to earth.
Apollo, the fearsome twin,
Stands crushed by Nature’s whim.
The ancient columns crumble down
And see the fury of ‘Pollo’s frown.
Once standing straight, and firm, and sure
No longer steadfast and secure
Proclaim a dead religion’s dearth,
And languid earth returns to earth.
